Hi and welcome back to another exciting edition of The Kilimanjaro Premium Lager Marathon. It’s been all hustle and bustle our side with getting arrangements in place for the coming marathon and we have a couple of important changes for 2019.
We are happy to announce that online entries are now officially open, via the official race website.
We are launching a new online Pre-Registration, discounted entry system. Entry fees will be determined based on when you enter, as indicated below, so enter early to take advantage of the discounted race fee.(The earlier you enter, the cheaper your race entry fee).
Due to the huge demand in previous years we have had to restrict numbers and will be limiting entries as follows:
- 750 in the full marathon
- 5500 in the half marathon and
- 5000 in the fun run
For the Full and Half marathons, runners can enter online only, with payment due at time of entry.
Cut off date for entry into Full and Half marathon will be 7 February, after which no further entries will be permitted.
The 5km Fun Run can be entered in advance on line, via Tigo Pesa (opening soon, we will advise when open) or else at the various race number collection points just prior to race day.Cut off in terms of entries will only be done once we reach a maximum of 5000 runners in this event.
Race numbers to be collected prior to race day at one of the collection points in either Dar es Salaam, Arusha or Moshi (details to follow upon registration).
Medals will be handed to all runners as they cross the finish line.

While the organisers of the Kilimanjaro Premium Lager Marathon 2019 have taken into account the high interest around the event, and accommodated accordingly when it comes to race numbers and timing chips, please note that entries are limited.
Your entry is only confirmed once payment has been made. We urge all runners who have registered online but not yet paid, to settle their entry fee urgently.
Local runners who registered online should use the Tigo Pesa payment option.

Upon payment, you will receive a message confirming your registration. Present this message at one of the Collection Points in Dar es Salaam, Arusha or Moshi, with your Passport or ID to receive your race number.
Entries for the Full and Half Marathon via pre-registration and online only.
Entries for the 5km Fun Run can be done via pre-registration and on line, but there will also be a registration desk at the collection points prior to race day in the 3 collection venues, so you can register then too.
