What a brilliant event! With 800+ entries in the Kilimanjaro Premium Lager Marathon, 5500 in the Tigo Half Marathon and 5000 in the Fun Run, this year’s event was a show-stopper. Africa’s highest peak came out in full glory, with not a cloud in the sky, as thousands of spectators lined the streets, and a jam-packed stadium welcomed runners home to great festivities and entertainment that carried on well after the last runners crossed the finish line.

The Kenyan’s dominated the 42km Marathon while the local Tanzanian’s took top honors in the half marathon with both the male and female winners in the 21km setting new course records.

The Regional Commissioner to Moshi, along with the Minister for Natural Resources and Tourism and the Minister for Sport all came out to support the race, which attracted runners from Australia to Uruguay, and 51 nationalities in between.

If you haven’t checked them out yet, final results and a full image gallery are on the website.

Remember to secure your entry as soon as the 2021 date is set and entries open, to avoid disappointment like the many who left it too late this year.

We can’t wait to see you in Kili!
