PRE-ENTRIES race numbers may be collected from a separate desk at Keys Hotel in Moshi ONLY, on the Fri 24 Feb & Sat 25 Feb 2017.
If booking on a Wild Frontiers' travel package your bib will be delivered to your hotel in Moshi - collect from reception at your hotel.
IMPORTANT: All athletes MUST BRING their PASSPORTS, or proof of identity document to registration for the full and half marathon races.
STARTING & FINISHING TIMES
The logistics of the operation are run by the Kilimanjaro Marathon Club and the members of both the Tanzania Amateur Athletics Association (TAAA) and the local Kilimanjaro Amateur Athletics Association (KAAA).
The Full Marathon and 10 km events both starts at the Moshi Cooperative University (MoCU) STADIUM in Moshi, and finish there.
The Half Marathon starts at the gate to MoCU STADIUM, on Sokoine Road and Finishes inside the stadium.
The Fun Run starts at the bottom of MoCU Stadium, on Uru Road - and finishes inside the stadium.
All four events finish within the Stadium grounds - please follow the directional arrows carefully as you enter the stadium.
PLEASE ensure you're in the correct tunnels to prevent finishing in the wrong queue and getting the incorrect medal/shirt .

We will be implementing a new electronic time keeping system this year to assist with instant results via the website. We encourage you to distribute this via social media and tag yourselves on our Facebook page please.
• There will be two (2) disposable timing chips on the back of your race number
• These chips will be covered with foam strips to prevent water and body fluids from damaging the chip
• Please do not remove these strips if one does NO TIME will be recorded
• The race number must be placed on the front of your vest
• Please do not fold or crumple the race number

FIRST AID / EMERGENCY ON ROUTE
There will be a roaming ambulance - if you are having difficulty STOP AND LET A FELLOW RUNNER ADVISE AN ORGANIZER WHERE YOU ARE THEY WILL LET US KNOW, and you will be collected off the route. There also is a sweep-vehicle at the end.
You also have telephone numbers printed on your race numbers that you can phone in case of an Emergency – KK Security will respond accordingly to your call.
PLEASE DO NOT THROW YOUR LITTER INTO THE BUSH. THROW IT IN THE BINS PROVIDED, OR ON THE ROAD WHERE WE CAN EASILY FIND IT AND DISPOSE OF IT.
This race will be televised on SuperSport and shown in April. The film crew will be on bikes – so smile, and wave!!

AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHS will be taken along the route. We may not manage to get all of you, and cannot promise top quality! All photos will be posted on the website by mid March and there is no charge to download. Hi-res will be available.
There will be a number of stands and people selling food and drinks at the stadium, plus entertainment.
PARKING & ACCESS
NO VEHICLES other than organisers’ will be allowed into the stadium. There is parking outside on Sokoine Road / Mweka Road opposite the TOP entrance of MuCO. You will NOT BE ALLOWED to bring your car into the stadium, or into the area surrounding it - so please don’t try! Similarly access at certain entrances will be restricted to athletes only.
Booking & Payment
TRAVEL PACKAGES A deposit per participant is required with booking. We reserve the right to cancel any entrant if payments are not received on time as laid out in the "Pricing Schedule".

Guests booking a full travel package will automatically have their entry fee & hospitality tent included if they book with the official booking agent Wild Frontiers.
ENTRIES ONLY SUBMITTED VIA WEBSITE (WITHOUT PRE-PAYMENT) - these are collated and you will be contacted to advise that we are holding your entry. You may collect your pre-registered race number, and pay, at Keys Hotel, Uru Road, Moshi on Fri/Sat ONLY (10 am - 5pm).
There is a separate pre-registration desk to save you time. On line entries close two weeks prior to race date.
ENTRIES & HOSPITALITY TENT - PRE-PAID. Please note you will be invoiced via Wild Frontiers, and you must pre-pay in full before Friday 12 February, 16h00, 2016.
Your race number will be available at the Pre-Registration Desk, at the Keys Hotel, Moshi on Fri/Sat.
If you arrive after 5pm, an envelope will be left at RECEPTION of Keys Hotel with your name on. This is only if you have PAID IN FULL and sent proof accordingly to Wild Frontiers email: email@example.com or fax to +27 (0) 86 689 6759

No mobile seconding of any description will be allowed on the route. Runners are allowed seconding within a distance of 100 meters either side of the official refreshment stations.
Aid stations will be withdrawing from the route after a relative time calculated on the cut-off.

- CORPORATE SPONSORS' TEAMS - will be included in general results as well as on a separate result sheet.
- FUN RUN - No official results will be produced, ages 10 years and upwards if unaccompanied by an adult. Any age with adult supervision.
Whilst categories may be noted on the results there may not necessarily be any recognition or prizes on race day for categories indicated above.
The race is being run under the auspices of the Tanzanian Amateur Athletics Association TAAA and the IAAF rules will govern this event.
There will be a tog bag tent near the start line. Do not leave anything valuable in your tog bag please.
There will be music at the finish, and sometimes live entertainment will be provided. There is an hospitality tent, with shade and food available as well as a masseur at an additional cost (this should be booked at the time of entering). A number of stalls and stands at the finish will sell food, drinks etc.
Kilimanjaro Marathon Club is responsible for arranging and providing the services during the marathon.
Wild Frontiers is responsible for tour packages purchased via their terms and conditions.
Kilimanjaro Marathon Club and the customer expressly agree that the laws of Tanzania shall govern this agreement and any claim made.
Full amount will be forfeited for the race entry and/or hospitality tent.

While every effort is made to keep to all published itineraries, we reserve the right to make changes for your convenience. In some cases, weather conditions can necessitate an alteration in the event itinerary and this does not constitute any reason for refund. No refund for unused services will be considered. Kilimanjaro Marathon Club reserve the right to correct printing errors or omissions at any time, unaffected portions will continue to remain valid.
