It is a pleasure to report to you that I had a fabulous time - Your Tanzanian office staff - treated us like KINGS & QUEENS during the VIP luncheon after the race. All this made by Wild Frontiers Pty (Brought to you Susan the brain behind it.) I am so grateful for your professional assistance towards a smooth and no glitches trip. I made friends from Kenya and Uganda, met fellow South Africans on an expedition too.
The whole trip, my first to Africa, was a wonderful experience. It was very reassuring to me to know that you had prepared my trip so well in advance, and the organization both of my travels and of the marathon itself was perfect. I met several international runners, and they said that of all the marathons they had run in Africa this was by far the best organized. High praise for you!
The atmosphere in the stadium after the race was really amazing. It was a rather hot day, the hilly course was not easy, but I didn't mind one bit, honestly, I enjoyed every step, constantly taking in the atmosphere, enjoying every moment.
Congratulations on a very successful Kilimanjaro Marathon. What a lot of work! Our group really appreciated Wild Frontiers' organization, right from the airport pickup through the hotel arrangements, the briefing, the dinner, and the event itself, we added a trip to Arusha park and it was great as well!
From our initial contact with in your South African office to the staff in Moshi we felt we were in excellent hands at all times. Thank you to everyone in your organization.
I met some amazing people, had a trip and race of a lifetime and left a part of me in Tanzania, I will definitely be back. Well done and thank you.
It was amazing to see the runners and spectators on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro which unexpectedly had gathered plenty of snow to entertain the visitors. Even Mawenzi peak and Mount Meru had their summits covered with the snow.
